Witness follows teen robbers

Two teens charged with robbing an Elsemere man as he worked on his car were caught after a witness followed the pair into Wilmington. New Castle County and Elsmere police were called Saturday afternoon. The unidentified victim told officers he was working on his car in the driveway outside his home when two teens approached him, struck him in the head with a handgun and robbed him of his wallet and cell phone.

A witness followed the pair in his vehicle and called police to report the two were in the area of Fourth Street in Wilmington. The two were arrested a short time later and the victim's property was later returned.
