Police in the borough of Wilson say Torres beat to death little Elijah Strickland on Tuesday. Torres claims the child fell while getting out of the tub after he gave the boy a bath.
Emergency responders who were unable to revive the child allegedly told police they saw bruises on the boy's body. He was pronounced dead at Easton hospital.
Police say Torres was home alone with the child while the boy's mother Lauren Anderson was at work.
