Fire truck accident damages firehouse

TRUMBAUERSVILLE, Pa. - July 13, 2008 It happened at around 3 p.m. at the Trumbauersville firehouse.

The fire truck was pulling out and the compartment door snagged the bay door. That bay door then collapsed onto the fire trucks inside.

The fire house itself was also damaged.

The driver said that an alarm linked to all of the trucks' compartment doors did not go off even though the door was open.

Service to residents in the community was not affected.
