2 ordered to stand trial in triple homicide

ALLENTOWN, Pa. (AP) - July 15, 2008 Charged in the case are 20-year-old Ali Elijah Davis of Freemansburg, Pennsylvania, and 31-year-old Lewis Gray of East Orange, New Jersey.

District Judge Gay Elwell on Tuesday sent homicide, robbery and conspiracy charges against them to Northampton County Court.

Authorities said 19-year-old Aleah Hamlin, 23-year-old Chanel Armour and 21-year-old Alphe Rene were shot execution-style in an apartment on Nov. 29.

A witness testified that he was at a friend's house when four men including Davis and Gray came to the house. He said he was told to wait in a second-floor bedroom, heard gunshots from the floor above and later found three people shot to death.
