Philadelphia police tell Action News they were chasing a car that took off after a routine traffic stop Thursday morning in Southwest Philadelphia.
The driver lost control and the car flipped over, landing on its roof near the R-3 SEPTA tracks at 48th and Greenway Avenue.
The driver ran from the scene.
The car was moved off the tracks so that the SEPTA rail service could continue.
