Hit and run driver sought
WEST OAK LANE - July 18, 2008 The incident occurred on May 15th at approximately 1:30 a.m. on the 1700 block of Wynsam Street in the city's West Oak Lane section.
The victim, a 23-year-old male, was crossing the street at the intersection of Wynsam and Woolston when he was struck by unknown vehicle.
The vehicle fled the scene leaving the injured victim lying on the street.
The victim who was critically injured remains hospitalized with spinal cord injuries and head trauma.
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed this accident or has any information to please contact the department's Accident Investigation Unit at 215-685-3180 or 82.
