Disturbance at Democratic Club

CAMDEN COUNTY, N.J. - July 20, 2008 Lawnside police were called out to the Democratic Club located in the 300 block of East Charlestown Avenue around midnight Saturday night after receiving reports of a disturbance there involving dozens of people.

Lawnside police arrived to find a crowd of about 300 juveniles and called for assistance from local police departments in the area to help break up the disturbance.

Several fights were broken up, however, no arrests were made.

No word yet from police on who organized the event but police are investigating
