Bride's child dies in car on wedding day
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) - July 21, 2008 The Palm Beach County Medical Examiner said Monday the
4-year-old boy's body temperature reached 108 degrees in the car.
The boy, Gregory Cesar, was pronounced dead at a hospital Saturday.
Officials say the boy may have been in the car for more than two
hours. Temperatures outside the car had reached 90 degrees.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office says the boy's mother,
Mirland Baptiste, may not have known the boy was in the car when
she went to get her nails done. The 29-year-old mother was supposed
to get married Saturday. Instead, the family mourned the boy's
death.
