Caiman found in Bucks County pond

NORTHAMPTON TWP., Pa. - July 21, 2008 A family with seven children had just moved into the neighborhood, and spotted the creature roaming the waters this morning. They promptly called animal control, which fished out the reptile.

It appears to be a caiman, which can actually grow much larger - up to 10 feet long.

Animal control believes it was someone's pet at one time.

The reptile was given to a local animal enthusiast who calls himself Jungle Joe.
