Two men arrested for fatal shooting

WINSLOW TWP., N.J. - July 22, 2008

The suspects are Kenneth Adams, Junior of Camden and Andre Munday of Lindenwold.

Police say Adams convinced Munday to kill Dunbar, because Dunbar was dating Adams' ex-girlfriend.

Dunbar, 33, of Philadelphia, had been dating Adams' ex-girlfriend, a Winslow woman, and investigation revealed a series of arguments about that relationship leading up to the night of Dunbar's death.

It is alleged Adams plotted to have Munday kill Dunbar.

The probable cause statement goes on to outline the following series of events:

On July 19, the day before Dunbar's death, police stopped Adams and Munday in a green '95 Saturn near the girlfriend's apartment. The night of July 19, Dunbar and Adams got into an argument at the girlfriend's home. Throughout the rest of that night Adams called his ex-girlfriend repeatedly, cursing at her and saying, "You are my girl."

On the night of July 20, Adams went to his ex-girlfriend's apartment on the first block of Hopewell Lane, claiming he wanted to take his children for a two-night visit. After another conversation between Adams, Dunbar and the female, Dunbar and the woman left in order to diffuse the situation.

After they left, Adams called his ex-girlfriend on her cell phone and asked her to return to her apartment, saying the children wanted to kiss her goodbye before they stayed with him. She and Dunbar returned to Hopewell Lane.

Munday is accused of coming up behind the defendant as he exited his vehicle about 11:48 p.m. and shooting him in the left side of the head. Munday then fled.

After the shooting, Adams allegedly said to his ex-girlfriend, "Look what you made me do."
