Atlanta entrepreneur Bill Evans and golf pro Craig Forney have played 50 courses in 50 states in 50 days.
They played their 900th hole in Hawaii yesterday.
The transcontinental golf odyssey began June 9th in Vermont.
They and a film crew and support team traveled by bus across the lower 48.
But flight connections to Alaska and Hawaii almost derailed their 50 in 50 goal.
Evans and Forney not only played golf, but also visited with cancer patients in local hospitals.
The marathon golfers say they hope the cross-country links adventure will raise a million dollars for cancer research, $20,000 in each state.
