Fire guts 4 row homes

TIOGA NICETOWN - July 28, 2008

Several families have been forced out of their homes by a fast moving fire in the Tioga Nicetown section of Philadelphia.

The blaze broke out at about 5 A.M. on Monday in the 1500 block of West Tioga Street. It then quickly raced down the block, badly damaging four homes.

There are no reports of injuries, and no word yet on a cause.

In Philadelphia's Roxborough section, one firefighter needed medical attention after battling a blaze at a diner.

Fire hit the Domino Diner at roughly 1:15 a.m. along the 5100 block of Umbria Street. Firefighters needed about 30 minutes to get the fire under control
