Delaware State Police say 43-year-old Dustin Britton of Smyna is charged with a dozen felonies.
Authorities say he used the club's debit card for supplies for his computer business, travel expenses, repairs to his home and other personal expenses.
Club President Lisa Leonzio says Britton has agreed to repay the money.
Board members say he confessed to the board when it became apparent that an audit would uncover the thefts. They say he told them he planned to repay the money when a personal investment paid off.
Britton did not return calls seeking comment.
