Police say 44-year-old John Bristol was not wearing a helmet on July 20 when he lost control of his motorcycle on the railroad tracks on Route 72 near Reybold Road. Bristol was thrown from the bike and suffered broken facial bones and other fractures to his body.
Witnesses to the crash confirmed that no other vehicles were involved. Police say tests that were conducted indicate Bristol was intoxicated at the time of the crash.
