Musikfest set for silver anniversary

BETHLEHEM, PA. - July 31, 2008 "We get approximately one million people over 10 days," says Raul Colunga, "so that gives you an idea how many people walk down Main Street."

It's quite a change for this normally quiet historic town. The streets will be rocking with the sounds of more than 300 musical acts during the 10 day festival.

"Everything from rock to polka to classical, plus blues, jazz and country," says Arts Quest president Jeffrey Parks.Arts Quest Every night, one big band rocks the main stage. Stone Temple Pilots, Boston and Earth, Wind and Fire are just a few of this year's main stage acts.

But there's much more than just music. Craftsmen and women come along to Musikfest from all over the world to sell their goods, alongside all the fest merchandise. Plus, food for every tastebud.

'Fest-goers will tell you one of the best things about the event is the charming atmosphere.
