Agriculture futures open trading higher on CBOT

CHICAGO (AP) - August 7, 2008 Wheat for September delivery rose 31.25 cents to $7.97 a bushel; December corn added 10.75 cents to $5.385 a bushel; December oats gained 7 cents to $3.83 a bushel; November soybeans added 31 cents to $12.53 a bushel.

Beef futures traded lower and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle fell 0.2 cent to $1.0215 a pound; August feeder cattle slipped 0.45 cent to $1.1505 a pound; August lean hogs gained 0.7 cent to 85.1 cents a pound; August pork bellies fell 2.15 cents to 61.75 cents a pound.
