Police in Delaware say a bank robbery suspect was captured after her getaway car broke down. Officials charged 21-year old Jennifer Witing of Wilmington with entering the Citizens Bank inside the Acme supermarket at University Plaza Wednesday morning, and handing a bank teller a note which demanded money. The teller activated the silent alarm and the suspect fled the bank without any cash.

A state trooper located the getaway car, a Ford Taurus, on Chapman Road in front of Christiana High School. The suspect was taken into custody without incident; police say she initially provided a false identity.

A routine computer check also revealed Witing was wanted by several Delaware courts. She was committed to the Baylor Correctional Institute in lieu of $115,000 secured bail.
