Argument leads to stabbing in Middle Twp.

An argument leads to a stabbing in Cape May County, New Jersey. Police tell Action News it appears the drivers of the two vehicles stabbed each other after an argument on the road. The argument, investigators say, was over a woman.

It happened shortly after midnight on Johnston Lane in Middle Township. Police say one man was stabbed with a knife, the other was stabbed with a shovel.

The driver of a pickup managed to drive himself to the hospital and call 911 as he nursed the stab wound. The other went to a friend's house, then was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

One victim is in serious condition. The second victim is being treated for minor cuts.
