Remembering a broadcast pioneer

Paul Norton spent 51-years in broadcasting, and joined what was then WFIL back in 1960.

He began here as a radio disc jockey and weekend TV weatherman at Channel 6.

Paul went on to host many shows, from entertainment to news and public affairs, and was the station announcer for decades.

Paul retired to Lewes, Delaware along with his wife Nancy back in 1997.

He was a true broadcast pioneer, and will be missed by all who knew him. Paul Norton, dead at the age of 79.
