Second tug pulled form Schuylkill -Philadelphia News

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA - August 10, 2008 Crews hauled up the second of two tugboats that sank in the Schuylkill River two weeks ago.

A huge crane completed the job today at Girard Point retrieving the tug Big Boy.

The first, the Carol Wales, was lifted up yesterday.

Both of the 350-ton vessels sank while in dock.

The cause is still under investigation.

The sunken tugs created an oil spill in the area, but experts say damage to wildlife and the environment was minimal.
