Friend: Murdered man predicted own death

ALLENTOWN, Pa. (AP) - August 11, 2008 Lehigh County Coroner Scott Grim says Jameel Clark was shot at about 1 a.m. Sunday outside an Allentown home. He died soon afterward at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. An autopsy is planned Monday, but Grim has ruled the death a homicide.

Sherry Perez says Clark hinted at a baby shower Saturday afternoon that people were targeting him. She says "he kept saying he was going to die."

Family members said Clark had been out that evening with friends. Friends and family described him as a loving person who spent a lot of time with his 1-year-old daughter.

A police spokesman declined to give details about the shooting and said it was still under investigation.
