New Jersey clears up lottery goof

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - August 20, 2008 Viewers on Monday night saw 0068 on the screen and heard the announcer repeat them. But at the end of the New Jersey Network broadcast, Renai Ellison corrected the winning numbers to 0168.

Lottery director William Jourdain says instant replay showed the "1" ball actually popped into the drawing tube before it dropped down and was replaced by a "0."

An accounting firm certified the results.

It's the second time this year that there was a problem with a Pick-4 drawing. In January, a cameraman failed to move from the third machine to the fourth, giving the appearance that a third "7" was drawn.
