Arrest made in Wilmington murder

Police in Wilmington have announced the arrest of a suspect in the murder of Annabelle Ramirez-Sanchez back on July 21, 2008. 18-year-old Victor Grantham of the 800 block of West 7th Street was identified as one of the shooters at the scene on that day and has been charged with murder second degree, possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by persons prohibited.

His bail has been set at $1,150,000 and is currently in Howard Young Prison.

The investigation is continuing and detectives have advised that other arrests are possible in the near future.
