Republican John Mccain's campaign has unveiled two new campaign ads using Democratic candidates own words downgrading Obama. One features Joe Biden questioning Obama's readiness to become president. The other ad demands to know why Obama didn't pick Hillary Clinton.

McCain will announce his running mate on Friday and one of those rumored to be on his short list was in our area today.

Minnesota governor Tim Pawlenty was in Downingtown and later in Center City.

Pawlenty said Obama picking Joe Biden runs against Obama's campaign theme of changing the way Washington works.

Also rumored to be on McCain's short list for running mate is former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney.

The Republic National Convention begins September 1, in Minneapolis, Saint Paul.
