Police search for Delaware Co. bank robber

NEWTOWN SQUARE, Pa. - August 26, 2008 At about 1:40 Monday afternoon police received a report of a robbery in progress at the Citizens Bank located at 3514 West Chester Pike.

The suspect presented a typed note to the bank teller and then placed the cash into the silver brief case, which also contained a smaller lockbox inside.

The actor fled on foot towards the rear of the bank with an unspecified amount of cash.

The actor was described as a white man in his late thirties, early forties, approximately 5'10, 220 pounds, and clean shaven. He was wearing dark colored coveralls, large sunglasses, a white hard hat, and carrying a silver brief case.
