Man stabbed in the back at work, literally!

HAVERTOWN, Pa. - August 26, 2008 It happened at approximately 11:45 yesterday morning at the Colonial Meat Market in the Manoa Shopping Center.

The male victim flagged down a Police Officer who was patrolling the shopping center and reported that he was just stabbed by a co-worker.

The victim provided the identity of the co-worker along with a description. He was then transported to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania with a non-Life threatening knife wound to the back.

Police located the suspect, identified as John Michael Falcone of West Hillcrest Avenue in Havertown, approximately five minutes after the incident a short distance from the shopping center. Falcone was walking towards his residence.

The suspect was taken into custody without incident and charged with aggravated assault and other related criminal charges.

The incident remains under investigation by the Haverford Township Police Department.
