Professor gets 3 DUIs in 8 days

PITTSBURGH (AP) - August 28, 2008

Carnegie Mellon University professor Jeffrey Hunker isn't returning calls on the charges, which were filed between Aug. 17 and Sunday. In the first incident, police say Hunker drove through a neighbor's yard and hit a house while he was three times drunker than the law allows.

Hunker was computer security director in the Clinton administration. He then was dean of CMU's public policy school until he was replaced by Mark Wessel who resigned earlier this month over questions about a master's degree awarded to a student.
