"It means everything that my mom and my father lived through, that my older brothers and sisters lived through, everything that they wanted for me is 100% possible," said Mel Glover, of Denver.
"It is absolutely incredible. I was around, of course, when Martin Luther King, Jr. made his "I have a dream" speech," said Carol Smith of Philadelphia. "This is a dream come true. I never thought I would see this in my lifetime."
"I'm overwhelmed by pride, I just can't tell you how I feel. I know I'll be crying throughout the ceremony," said Charlie Moore of Philadelphia.
