WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - September 3, 2008
Officers responding to a call about shots fired found the
victims inside a car that had struck a parked car in the 500 block
of East 10th Street on September 1st. Police say they believe the men were shot at
another location.<
They have been identified as 31 year old Amin Guy of the 700 Blk. of E. 10th Street in Wilmington, Delaware and 38 year old Francis Leighton (AKA Leighton Francis) of the 700 Blk. of S. Harmony Rd. in Newark, Delaware.
Police say they both had been shot
several times and died a short time later at Christiana Hospital.
The slayings bring the city's 2008 homicide total to 18, four
more than all of 2007.
