According to police, Cayton was traveling at speeds in excess of 100 miles per hour. Suffered massive head trauma and died instantly. Police say he was not wearing a helmet.
The va driver was not injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
Motorcyclist flees police, dies in Del. crash
REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. (AP) - September 2, 2008
Authorities say the motorcycle operated by 25-year-old Robert
Cayton of Vanderbilt, Pa., collided with a van pulling a boat on a
trailer on Coastal Highway. The accident happened just south of
Rehoboth Avenue in Rehoboth Beach about 10:15 p.m. Monday.
