What do I do if there's a tornado?

If people can't be evacuated to the lowest level of a building, you want to make sure that everyone is in the most interior room of the building (even if that's just a hallway or a closet) and that you are as far away from windows as possible.

Erica's Answer:

If a tornado strikes a building, the outside walls will be the first to sustain damage, which is why you want to be in the center of the building. Also, since most tornado injuries are caused by broken glass, you want to stay away from windows!
