Collarbomb defendant headed to Texas

ERIE, Pa. (AP) - September 9, 2008

Fifty-nine-year-old Marjorie Diehl-Armstrong cannot stand trial in the August 2003 robbery plot until a federal judge in Erie determines she's mentally competent. Earlier this year, the judge ordered her to have treatment for at least 120 days and she has now been transferred from the Erie County Jail.

Armstrong has said she'll have that treatment at the Federal Medical Center at Carswell, in Fort Worth, Texas.

Her co-defendant, Kenneth Barnes, last week pleaded guilty to his role in planning the heist.
