A driver fleeing from Philadelphia Police slammed into another car in East Mount Airy overnight, injuring two people. The Action Cam was on the scene as Medics tended to the injured victims on the 6400 block of Chew Street. Police say their Mercedes was broadsided by a stolen Oldsmobile Cutlass at around 1:30 this morning.

The man and woman were taken to Einstein Medical Center and are in stable condition this morning.

It all began when police noticed the Oldsmobil driving at a high rate of speed around 1:00 and went to pull the vehicle over. The vehicle fled from police and officers from the 35th gave chase. During the chase police discovered the vehicle was stolen and other officers joined in the chase.

The suspect is facing a long list of charges. And police now want to know if that Oldsmobile was carjacked earlier in Roxborough.
