Councilmen try to ban calling while driving

Three Philadelphia city councilmen will introduce a bill today, which would ban talking on your cell phone while driving. Councilmen Bill Green, Bill Greenlee and Frank Rizzo are sponsoring the bill. It would only allow a driver to use a cell phone with hands-free equipment.

Violators could be fined 300 dollars.

But the lawmakers say they really want to remind drivers of how dangerous it is to drive and talk at the same time.
