Bomb squad responds to bank robbery

A bank robbery has sparked a bomb scare in New Jersey. Chopper 6 was over the scene in Brick Township, Ocean County.

A lone bandit robbed the Bank of America branch on Herbertsville Road around 11:00 this morning.

He left behind a suspicious package, but police say the package was determined to be harmless.

An active search is continuing. The suspect is described as a taller white male, who was wearing a green jacket, baseball cap and blue jeans. He was also described by witnesses as having a scruffy face.
