Homicide suspect arrested

JONESTOWN, Pa. - October 2, 2008 - Julio Lastra was wanted for the death of 41-year-old Marisol Rivera.

Investigators Lastra, 32, strangled Rivera in her Frystown, Pa. home.

Authorities say Rivera's sister was Lastra's ex-girlfriend and they had recently broken up.

Police say Lastra was later pulled over for a traffic violation in Harrisburg, but fled and foot and stole a vehicle.

That vehicle was later found abandoned in Baltimore.

On Thursday, police say Lastra was arrested driving a stolen car in Virginia.

Inevstigators from the Pennsylvania State Police will be traveling to Virginia.
