A human leg has been found in a suitcase abandoned in a park in suburban Westchester County. A county police spokesman says a maintenance worker at Tibbetts Brook Park in Yonkers had noticed the abandoned suitcase earlier Thursday. The worker went to move the suitcase shortly before 4 p.m., partially unzipped it and saw a light-skinned man's leg inside.

Police responding to the scene ordered the popular park evacuated. Several soccer games were canceled as investigators began searching the crime scene around the suitcase.

Tibbetts Brook Park in Yonkers covers 161 acres and is known for its large public swimming pool and playing fields.
