Victims identified in Phila. homicides - Philadelphia News

The victims in two homicides in Philadelphia have been identified.One of the killings happened in Overbrook at around 8:00 p.m. Saturday night in the 1700 block of North Allison Street.

Police say 36-year-old Robert Byrd from the 3800 of Fairmount St. was shot several times. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

There have been no arrests.

Meanwhile, police are investigating a murder in Oxford Circle.

It happened around 8:00 p.m. in the 1300 block of Pratt Street.

Police say 18-year-old Marquel Colebert, from the 5200 block of Akron St., was shot several times. He was taken to Frankford Hospital Torresdale division and pronounced dead.

There have been no arrests in this case.
