Alleged rape outside the Linc

Philadelphia Police are investigating a charge of rape at Lincoln Financial Field at Sunday's Eagles game. Sources say the victim left the game at halftime. It appears she'd been drinking and wanted to go lay down. She asked an event staffer for help and that's when she was allegedly raped.

Sources say the event staffer escorted the victim to a bus in a parking lot off Pattison near Derien where she and about 10 friends had been tailgating before the Eagles game. The suspect left and returned about 5 minutes later and allegedly raped the woman.

A source close to the investigation says investigators found forensic evidence on the bus. The victim was taken to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital for treatment.

As detectives searched for clues, friends of the victim stood by worried about her condition.

An Eagles spokesperson says the team is aware of the allegations but has no comment.

Police are not talking and there have been no reported arrests.
