Police in New Castle County, Delaware have arrested a man they say told parents he was signing up their children for a baseball tournament, but instead stole the registration fees.43-year-old Bruce Hillsgrove of Elkton, MD was wanted for scamming parents after receiving a report of a fraud involving 10 victims.

Those victims say they paid Hillsgrove for the tournament, which was to be held at the Ripken Baseball Facility in Maryland. Police say he took $2,125 from parents and vanished.

Police say his brother learned of the incident and returned $525 to some of the victims, but the remaining $1,600 was stolen.

Authorities say Hillsgrove turned himself in after his warrant and mugshot were released to the media.
