"If it looks fabulous on you, who cares what size it is? "

That's the philosophy behind Deva's Plus Closet, a consignment boutique Aldine Hallman opened in Collingswood back in 1983.

She does sell new clothes in smaller sizes -- but it's her plus-size consignment collection that draws loyal customers like Nina Blair, a plus-size model who says she's always able to find clothes at Deva's.

Aldine splits sale prices 50/50 with her consigners. And after 60 days on the floor, the items are reduced to half-price.

She never has two of the same pieces in stock, so the clothes here are not just a good deal, they're unique.

The store is packed with inventory -- but it's very well-organized by size. And the half-off items have easy-to-find special tags.

Plus, you get the benefit of Aldine's fashion advice. She says, "By using the best of consignment, together with ready-to-wear, I can offer my clients great looks at a great savings. "

Deva's Plus Closet doesn't have a website (yet), but it's located at 581 Haddon Avenue in Collingswood. The phone number is: 856- 854-8828.

Other plus-size consignment boutiques in our area include:

Ample Accents at 1421 Mauch Chunk Road in Bethlehem, Pa. (610-868-1994).

Fashion Re-View at 636 Lincoln Highway in Fairless Hills, Pa., (215-428-176) isn't exclusively Plus-Size, but they do have an extensive selection of merchandise.
