A 2005 Suzuki XL-7, operated by a 59-year-old Pennsylvania man, was travelling at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control, flipped and rolled down an embankment landing below onto Rockland Road.
The driver died at the scene.
Delaware State Police have closed Route 141 and Rockland Road as they investigate the crash.
