ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) - October 14, 2008
The company said last week it would open smoking lounges at all
four casinos on Wednesday. That's when a 7-day ban on smoking on
the gambling floor takes place.
But Harrah's now says when the ban is lifted on Oct. 22, it will
join the rest of the city's casinos and allow smoking on 25 percent
of the casino floor.
Harrah's Eastern Division President J. Carlos Tolosa says to do
otherwise would put the company at a competitive disadvantage.
