Watch parties in full effect

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA - October 15, 2008 Some fans will join friends at sports bars and others will root from the comforts of home, but all will be snacking

At Carlino's Specialty Foods specialties in Ardmore, chef Alajandro Perez and his kitchen staff were busy today preparing game watching food, not just for the store, but for Phillies parties.

"I've noticed we've gotten a lot more orders within the last couple of days…and I can foresee, if they win tonight, and we know they're going to, that we will have a lot more orders after that," Jill Santoro of Carlino's Specialty Foods said.

Perhaps some will wash down their food with a brewski baring the Phillies logo. Throughout the region, it was easy to spot Phillies fans.

Gloria and Roosevelt Price were waiting for a bus in Center City, brightly coordinated in Phillies colors. They are looking forward to watching the game at home

"I'm going to watch the game, sitting back with a bag of chips and pretzels and nice cold Diet Coke and they're going to win," Gloria Price said.

Businessman and fan Frank Fiora was selling Phillies shirts from his Center City stand.

"We've been selling tons of Phillies merchandise and we're not just selling it to make money, we're big Phillies fans here; I've been rooting for Phillies since I was a kid," Frank said.
