Heavy fog and smoke has closed the Hammonton School district this morning.

Fog is holding the smoke down over the Route 30 area. Police say driving is hazardous, and visibility is reported to be zero in that area.

So, officials decided to close the Hammonton School district schools and also St. Joseph's High School and St. Joseph's Elementary School, both of which are parochial schools.
