Hang a plate rack in the bathroom and it will neatly hold hand towels or magazines right within arms reach.
A rack in the kitchen or office can be used for mail. The different levels are perfect for sorting mail for different family members or use it as a place to stash outgoing mail.
If you find a longer rack you could use it for files that you use most frequently.
Depending on the type of rack you find you could hook your keys over the bottom hooks to store them as well!
Buy some frames that fit the rack and use it as a unique place to display family pictures.
In the garden "plant" it into a flower bed as a support for a climbing vine.
Just remember to bury it deep enough so that it will stand upright and not tip over.
