High School Huddle Week 10

November 1, 2008 Featured game Wissahickon Vs. Upper Dublin...Jamie Apody has highlights from across the region...Philadelphia Eagles Special teamers Quintin Demps and J.R. Reid share with Keith Russell their High School football memory's... Primetime player is John Wilson, a senior at Lincoln High School. Born with half a right arm John is a living testimony to the strenght of the human spirit. He plays safety, wideout and is the team kicker. He hopes to some day play college football. Next week's High School Huddle Primetime player will be Eric Fath from Quakertown High School..The senior tightend end is headed to Liberty University in 2009..Eric is also very skilled at playing several musical instruments.

Hats off to Harriton High School's head football coach. Coach Matt Barr has RAISED the bar for giving back by getting his entire football team huddled around a cause by participating the in the annual Parkway Run/Walk for Pediatric Cancer Research. The connection, a fellow co-worker Brett Davis from the Welsh Valley Middle school in the same district lost his infant son Trey to cancer in 2006.

And 6abc is getting geared up to bring you a live broadcast of the Philadelphia City Championship game game. A November 22nd game between the Public and Catholic League Champions. It will be the first time since 1979 the game will be played. The television broadcast begins at noon. The game will also be streamed live on 6abc.com
