Deadly stabbing at Philly shopping center

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA - November 1, 2008 The victim, 37-year-old Van Tri Chi, was stabbed and died. Another victim, a 31-year-old male, remains in stable condition at Jefferson.

Police tell Action News that a fight broke out inside of the VY DA Café and Sports bar in a strip mall in the 600 block of Washington Avenue around 1:00 a.m.

The bouncer of the café had removed the 3 males from the café and they continued to fight in the parking lot. Police say one of the males pulled out a knife and stabbed the 2 victims.

There have been no arrests at this time.
