Car fire slows Blue Route traffic

November 11, 2008 The car burst into flames on the shoulder of the southbound lanes of Route 476 right at Baltimore Pike.

Upon their arrival, police and firefighters found the car fully engulfed. The fire was quickly extinguished, and firefighters have since left the scene.

The car remains on the side of the highway.

Northbound lanes are jammed from I-95 to Route 1.
