Researchers create nanobama

The election of Barack Obama is no big deal to scientists at the University of Michigan.

In fact, it's so tiny it can only be seen through a microscope.

Researchers have created a nanotechnology image of the president-elect using tube-shaped molecules of carbon atoms.

Research team leader John Hart says the "nanobama" isn't meant as any sort of political statement.

He adds it's a fun way to demonstrate what can be done with nanotubes.

The researchers have also created a nano Joe Biden and a nano-flag.

Scientists say nanotechnology could eventually impact everything from medicine to space flight.
